Monash Blues & TAC Band Together

Wednesday 13 July 2022

This coming Saturday - July 16th - our coaches, players, volunteers and supporters will be asked to don a blue armband to show their commitment to eliminating death and serious injury on our roads as part of the TAC Road Safety Round.

With a large number of our players from regional areas, and falling within the 18-25 year old age group, we can play an important role by amplifying road safety messages throughout the Club. If you're at any of our games this weekend, please see one of our match day officials who can provide you with a blue armband as we all 'band together' to create safer roads.

The armbands will honour every life we’ve lost on the road and promote that every community member has a reason to drive safely, inspiring clubs to lead the conversation within their communities to create a lasting impression.

As part of the TAC Club Rewards Program, we're asking Monash Blues' players, coaches, volunteers and community members to complete this short, anonymous survey (click here).

The insights will help AFL Victoria and the TAC continue to support community football clubs, and help us improve our work in making Victorian Roads a safer place together. The survey should take no more than 5 minutes.

You can see the video that players across our Men's and Women's football teams put together to support this important message.
