Congratulations to Samantha Rodgers on her 100th game for the Monash Blues last Saturday at The Frearson.
Sam joined the Ashes in 2018, the second VAFA season for our Women's football program, and has made an amazing contribution to both the Club and Monash's Women's football since her arrival.
Our Club Secretary for the last three years, Samantha has been a fixture in our Women's Senior team ever she since she first wore the Monash Blues' colours. After having played almost all of the home & away matches in our 2023 Premier B Women's team, a cruel injury in the final round forced her miss the finals series. But Sam, being the great Ashes' woman she is, assited the coaches throughout the finals and was an integral part of our first Senior Women's Premiership. And no one was surpried when the name "Samantha Rodgers" was called out as the recipient of season 2025's Best Clubperson.
