Congrats Hayden Devanny on 100 games ahead of this Saturday!
Hayden arrived at the Monash Blues from Nhill in 2012. Known for his short and stout stature, he started as a hard onballer before moving down back in later years using his loud voice and elite short kicking skills to provide leadership and rebound from the backline. He also has the unique record of having played games at all levels for the Ashes from Fourths to Seniors!
Finishing 2018 as a Fourths Premiership player and on 95 games, an unlucky run with injuries over recent years, from multiple broken noses to numerous hamstrings, has seen him take longer than planned to reach this milestone. However, this has never dampened his love for the Club and he is one of the first to get down to social functions, support the team and put his hand up to help in whatever capacity he can. This was recognised in 2017 when he was awarded the Whites Best Clubman. Hayden is a football brain and is always willing to provide advice to teammates to help get the best out of themselves, a coach of the future. Congratulations from everyone at the Club on finally reaching the milestone. It is well deserved and best of luck for the game!
