Formed by the initial intake of Monash University students back in 1961, the Monash Blues football club first played regular competition games in 1962. Our mission is to:
With five Men’s teams (including an under 19s) and two Women’s teams playing in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA), we cater for a broad range of backgrounds and skill levels.
Many of our players herald from country Victoria and interstate. They are looking for a Club that provides an immediate sense of community and a great network of like-minded young people. Monash Blues provides this, led by a mature senior playing group and an exceptional committee, all of whom have been through the experience of finding their feet at the University as members of Monash Blues FC.
This focus on community also means that our Club is an ideal landing pad for local players, whether at the University or otherwise.
