What major significance does the last Sunday in August and the Kew Football Club hold in Monash football history?
Well, on the last Sunday of August in 1998, the Monash Whites defeated Kew to win the third and, sadly, final Premiership under the Monash Whites' name.
Twenty years later, on the last Sunday in August of 2018, the Monash Blues Men's Fourths defeated Kew to win their first ever Premiership.
So there's a joint 25 Year and 5 Year Premiership Reunion coming and all of the Monash University football family are invited.
